Jonah Hill seems like the unlikeliest of Hollywood power players…at least he did when he first made a splash in “Knocked Up” (2007).
Since then, he’s become one of those actors who makes everything he’s in better, with two Oscar nominations (Moneyball, The Wolf of Wall Street), and critical notice, if not awards buzz, for almost every role.
In the past few years, Hill – born and raised in Los Angeles, the son of Richard Feldstein, a tour accountant for Guns N’ Roses – he has been adding writing, producing and directorial credits to his resume.
The early buzz is about as hot as it gets for Hill’s latest project, mid90s, a love letter to the California skate culture of his childhood that he wrote and directed.
