Over the summer we finally poured the concrete driveway we had been planning and saving for. Gone now are the days of trying to shovel the snow only to have my efforts hampered by the thing getting stuck and skipping on the uneven rocks that used to be there. Instead I’ve found a new challenge, finding the perfect shovel. Which, I now realize there is really no such thing.
I’ve got this blue blade looking thing that is great for moving a lot of snow at once, but I can’t lift it to put the snow on a “pile”.
Got to use a smaller one like this red one.
Then my guy bought this one with the big scoop, but it was more of a pain than a help. It just got too heavy with snow.
I swear there are more shovels hanging on the garage wall than any other tool! Because as you know, not only do you need a shovel for the front yard, you need one for the back yard! I decided to counted our shovels. Six. Yes. Six. And, there are only two of us that live there. Too funny. Even funnier, none of them is perfect for the job. The struggle is real. Ask any Winnipegger trying to clear snow! Good luck in your quest!
