It’s always interesting to get an outside perspective on our city…when that perspective is constructive.
We’re used to the uninformed bashing that the city is subjected to, but we also know that once people actually visit, most people discover “our little secret”.
In this case, however, an urban planner named Bill Lindeke from Minneapolis recently paid Winnipeg a visit, and his perspectives are interesting, funny, at times a little confused, but constructive.
Especially when he praises some of the things that we might consider flaws.
