What have you got planned for Halloween decorating this year?
Me? I’ll get the family together for a pumpkin carving night a couple of days before H-Ween. Then I’ll put them out.
No giant, inflatable characters on the lawn. No dummy of a bloody body bisected by the garage door. No music.
And I will not be hiding in the shrubs for three hours to jump out and scare trick-or-treaters.
Four (real) carved pumpkins and candy. That’s all. You know…old school.
This guy in Ohio, however…he’s going a little bigger, literally.
Nick Meyer has built a replica of a Star Wars four-legged All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker, nearly as tall as his two-storey house.
Meyer used wood, hard foam and plastic barrels. He also says he enjoys the “Star Wars” movies but isn’t a fanatic and just thought this display would be unique.
