Someone looked at a bunch of Google data recently, and came up with the most frequently misspelled words by state. Now, Canada gets its turn.
No doubt that we’ve lost the ability to spell because of all of the tools we have at our disposal to do it for us. I actually saw someone spell “In fact..” as “In facked…” recently online. It’s phonetically correct, I’ll give it that.
So what is the most often misspelled word in Manitoba? “Athiest”, apparently. I’m not sure what that indicates, but there you have it.
