I have to say when the first Incredibles came out, I absolutely LOVED it. It was funny, I loved the voice actors they chose and it was a great story. Looks like I’m not the only one who has been waiting for the sequel. Over the weekend, “Incredibles 2” had the best animated opening of all time, the biggest PG-rated launch ever and the 8th highest film launch overall! Disney estimated it made close to $180 million in its first 3 days. After an opening like that, I’m sure the big wigs wished they hadn’t waited 14 years!
The movie though, may not be suitable for all. If you are one of the 3% of the population that lives with photosensitive epilepsy, you may want to be cautious about seeing this film. Of course, not all flashing lights are problematic. The Epilepsy Foundation describes, lights that flash 5 to 30 times per second are more likely to trigger seizures. Also, the brighter the lights and the closer you are to the light, the greater the risk. But the thresholds may differ from person to person.
