Will the mysteries never cease? No. The answer is no, which is why – given the technology available now – archaeology would be such a fascinating field to be getting into.
Take for instance, these so-called “gates” recently found by scientists scouring the Earth with…well, Google Earth.
They’re calling them “gates” because they resemble gates found in a farm field when viewed from above; they don’t know what they are.
They were found in uninhabitable lava fields that were obviously habitable when they were erected, some 2,000 to 9,000(!) years ago.
