To me, there is nothing quite as impressive as a Canadian than to see an RCMP member in the dress Red Serge. When I see them at Remembrance services, it even chokes me up a bit.
That…is an impressive uniform. If you were at the RCMP Musical Ride over the weekend, you know that it’s even more awesome to see a whole posse of them.
Last week, the North Vancouver detachment invited fellow members from detachments all over the Lower Mainland for a photo op to celebrate Canada 150, and more than 100 showed up.
They gathered on North Vancouver’s Capilano Suspension Bridge to take what will surely become one of the most historic images in the archives of the RCMP. historic photo seen for generations to come.
As North Vancouver RCMP Supt. Chris Kennedy said in a release, “It was a proud moment for all those of us who stood together on the bridge, showing support for the country we serve and protect.”
