You know the routine. You sit down with a friend at a restaurant or coffee shop, and before long one of you has to leave the table for some reason. What’s the first thing you do? Yep. You check your phone.
That routine might be changing if an initiative by one Toronto coffee shop catches on.
In an effort to encourage its patrons to talk to one another (imagine!), it has eliminated its WiFi.
Of course, you’ve always got your data connectivity, so maybe this won’t be effective at all. Or maybe it will.
