One of the best parts of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is the great speeches by the people chosen to induct the inductees into the Hall of Fame. One of my personal favourites was Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters inducting Rush in 2013.
Well, some of the inductors have been announced for the 2017 ceremony, which takes place on April 7. In case you missed it, your class of 2017 is comprised of ELO, Joan Baez, Journey, Nile Rodgers, Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur and Yes.
Speaking of Rush, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee will be inducting Yes. Neil Young will be introducing Pearl Jam, and Jackson Browne will introduce Joan Baez at the ceremony. And, judging by past years, some of these names may even join the bands on stage for once in a lifetime performances. Members of Rush and Yes playing together? YES PLEASE!
